"I would like to let my beautiful wife and the rest of
my family know that I'm thinking about you everyday
and would like to thank you all very much for your
support and prayers. Don't worry I'll be back home
soon. I would also like to thank Jay, Willy,
Cody, David, and Jimmy for getting this together. It
really means a lot that some of the greatest musicians
are backing us too! AIRBORNE, All the Way !

This is a photo of me on my second deployment to Iraq in 2005. I'm now a Drill Sergeant in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO safe and sound. I want to thank my family for supporting me in my military career, no soldier could do this job without great people standing behind them. I also want to thank the Reckless Kelly boys (especially Cody for the great time we all had in Challis this year after the jam session) for putting up a great new section to their site, Micky and the Motorcars, Ragweed, Stoney, RRB, the Stragglers, Mike McClure, Rodney Pyeatt, and all the other wonderful artists who got me through some horrible times over there and make all my days better now with the outstanding music that they put out continue to put out for all of us dedicated fans.

Hey guys, my girlfriend was looking at your site and saw the reckless soldiers link.  She knows how much love your music and she suggested I send a picture.  I am 24 years old and a college graduate.  I just joined the Army, I ship out for Basic Training on 30 October.  One of the pictures I attached is of me just after swearing into the Army.  My MOS is 18x which means Special Forces candidate.  I am going to be at Ft. Benning, GA for Basic Training, Advanced Infantry training and Airborne school.  From there I go to the special operations prep school at Ft. Bragg NC then into the Special Forces stuff.  I am a fourth generation soldier and serving my country is the highest honor I could ever hope for.

I'm an Apache Pilot currently stationed in Iraq out of Fort Hood, Texas.  I'd like to say hello and I love you to my incredible wife, Lindsay.  Thank you so much for your endless support and patience, and I will be home real soon.  Thanks to Mom, Dad, Crystal and Jane for the prayers and messages.  Good luck and stay safe to Jamee, who'll be here long after I leave.  Big thanks to Reckless Kelly for making this possible, and I can't wait to see y'all at Gruene hall in December!  Attack!

Hey Guys, we really appreciate you guys putting this section of your site.
Lopez and I went through four years of college together, have been
stationed together in Georgia & Kentucky, and will be in the same unit at
Ft. Hood, Texas. Wherever we are, we are hardcore ambassadors for
Texas-Style country and ESPECIALLY Reckless Kelly! Keep rockin' hard.

First of all, I want to thank every other person on this page for the
job they do and the sacrifices they make daily. Jimmy, Cody, Willy,
David, and Jay - Thank you guys for your continued support (Jimmy - your
packages are truly the best)! If you only knew the miles I've put on
these RK CDs in the last 6 months... Every day it's the music that keeps
me sane and reminds me of all the good times we've had and all the good
times to come (did I just say that?). To my beautiful mother who will
know doubt be reading this, you kick ass! Thank you for giving me the
good genes, the independence, and the ability to tell it like it is that
have helped me get through each day over here. Finally to Amber and Liz
- save me a spot next to you in the front row and order me a
double...I'll be home soon!
