I‘ve never been a huge fan of racing, I didn’t grow up in the south and my first car’s top speed was about 55 miles per hour. Seriously. I can’t seem to get in to watching a bunch of guys drive around in circles, but then again, I wasn’t that in to Football till I moved to Texas and was beaten over the head by it for several years.  (Texans are REALLY in to football.) Now I love watching football and have even been know to place a wager or two… I never liked basketball until I saw it live and I still don’t like sweaty watching guys run from one end of a room to the other, but I can actually stand to watch the last few min of a game now.  Something about the live experience makes it fun… I might even like soccer or “football” as they call it in the rest of the world, if I saw a live match. If there are lots of girls that look like this at said match, I may be a lifelong fan!  Today we are going to take a tour of the NASCAR racetrack here in North Carolina and are going to get to see where they build the race cars, and all that jazz…  So, what I’m wondering is will I be a fan of NASCAR after today or will it take getting me in to a stock car to convert me? We leave for the track in a few minuets and I’m curious as to what my take on the sport will be after getting to see the “backstage” part of it all… To Be Continued… WB
